Privacy Policy

FixMentor AI ("we", "us", "our") operates the FixMentor AI mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in (email, Google, or Apple) we receive your email address and a unique account identifier from our authentication provider.
• Scan content. Photos you upload, the diagnosis text generated for them, and any notes you save. Photos are processed to return a diagnosis and are not used to train third-party models.
• Usage data. Basic analytics about which screens are viewed, how often features are used, and crash/error reports so we can improve the App.
• Approximate location (optional). If you grant the permission, we use your approximate location to surface nearby repair professionals. We do not store precise GPS history.
• Purchase information. Subscription status comes from Apple, Google, and our subscription provider (RevenueCat). We do not see your full payment card details.

2. How we use information

• To provide the diagnosis service you requested.
• To sync your scan history across devices when you sign in.
• To recommend qualified repair professionals near you.
• To prevent abuse, fraud, and excessive usage of the service.
• To respond to support requests you send us.

3. Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the App (authentication, subscription management, hosting, error monitoring, AI inference). We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety of users.

4. Data retention & deletion

Scan history is retained while your account is active. You can delete any individual scan inside the App. To delete your account and all associated data, email support@fixmentor.ai from your account email address and we will remove your data within 30 days.

5. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g., EU/UK/California) you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Contact us at the address below to exercise these rights.

7. Security

We use industry-standard transport encryption (HTTPS) and our providers encrypt data at rest. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted in the App or by updating the effective date above.
